Everything in our bakery is made by hand on the premises from scratch by our bakery team.
All of the ingredients are local, seasonal, fair trade and organic where possible. The baking starts very early every morning to ensure that all of our products are as fresh as possible to delight our customers. It is ethical artisan baking at its best!
Every day breads include white, wheat and granary tin loaves and our very own unique 7 grain bread, loaded full of seeds and grains for slow release energy all day long.
We have a bread slicer situated in our shop where you can ask for your loaf to be sliced at point of sale.
We do a range of organic flour breads as well; our rustic white (which is a blend of white and wheat flour) is always popular as are our 'twists' with garlic and cheese, sun-dried tomato, or spinach and feta running through it. Other varieties that are available are walnut, date and walnut, cranberry and hazelnut, sunflower and linseed, wheat, granary, olive and caramelised onion.
Our scrolls are quite popular. There is always cinnamon and raisin and one other savour scroll on offer. whether it is sweet chilli and cheese, ham and mustard, Branston pickle and cheese or ham and sun-dried tomato, there is always something for everyone.
All of our pies and pasties are handmade by our baker; minced beef and onion, cheese and onion, meat pasty and vegetable pasty.
Dark chocolate brownies, raspberry and coconut slice, carrot cake, almond slice, wholemeal fruit slice, flapjack, shortbread, caramel shortbread, florentines, muffins, egg custards, wheat free chocolate cake, currant square are just a small variety of our cakes and slices that we have on offer.
